Empowering Families Through Educational Consultation
Expert guidance for children with learning differences one step at a time.
ABOUT A&E
Meet Paula Dufault, Ed.S., M.S., BCET #10192
I am the sole owner and consultant at A&E Educational Consultant. Holding an Ed.S. in Disability Studies, a Master’s in Special Education, and Board Certification in Educational Therapy. I bring both academic rigor and real‑world experience to every case.
My philosophy is simple: Parents know their children best. I partner with you to navigate special‑education services ensuring your child receives an appropriate, free, and public education tailored to their unique learning profile.
I work directly with families, not as an advocate but as a consultant focused on positive collaboration with school staff. Together, we create clear, actionable plans that align with best practices and meet your child’s needs.
A&E services
I offer a variety of services for families to support your child’s education. Fees are discussed prior to
services rendered to ensure a fair and responsible plan for your child.
Educational Therapy Strategies
As a Board Certified Educational Therapist, I promote IEPs to support individualized strategies for dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and Autism Spectrum learning differences. I network with Educational Therapists when a referral benefits your child.
School & Resource Navigation
I connect families with trusted private or public‑school resources and outside professionals when additional support is beneficial.
Report Review & Interpretation
I read psycho‑educational and diagnostic reports, translate the findings into simple language, and create a clear path so you can make confident decisions.
